39 Years of Contrasts. 39 Years of Constants.

Mike and I are celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary today.

I stop to ponder that a moment.

I am amazed and not surprised at the same time.

Anniversaries are markers. Milestones, Benchmarks.

They close a chapter in the book of our lives and begin a new chapter at the same time.

So much time. Such little time.

So many happenings. So much left to do.

So many people have passed through our lives.

So many more people to meet, enjoy, learn from, share with, and love.

So much heartache. So much fun.

So much serious illness. So many times Our God has saved us.

So many memories. So many dreams.

So much change. So much the same.

So many moments wasted. So many moments shared.

So many days past. Unknown days ahead.

Love yesterday, Love today.

Love tomorrow if you are blessed to have it.
